Delete your account

Export your data first

Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data before deleting. In the app, go to Account → Export my data, or email us. Once your account is deleted, this data is gone.

What is permanently deleted

  • Your account and sign-in.
  • Your profile, username and avatar.
  • Your friends and friend requests.
  • Likes and pins you gave or received.
  • Your cloud songbook backup (songs and folders synced to your account).
  • Songs and folders shared to your profile.
  • Any review you left about the app.
  • Your Premium status on this account (an active subscription must still be cancelled where you took it — Google Play, the App Store or “Manage my subscription” on jam-jam.org).

What is not deleted automatically

  • Songs kept only on your phone — they stay on the device until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
  • Purchase and transaction records held by Google Play or our payment processor Stripe, not by us.
  • Minimal records the law requires us to keep (e.g. accounting) — retained only for the legally-required period and unable to identify you in the app.

How to delete your account

From the app (recommended)

Open Jam Jam → Account (or Settings) → Delete my account. You confirm by typing a keyword; deletion is immediate and permanent.

By email

If you can’t open the app, email us from your account’s email address asking to delete your account. We complete the request within 30 days.
